MATE Desktop - No desktop icons for root

There were no desktop icons when logging in as root, nor it was possible to right click. It appeared that Caja does not run as the desktop managing application.

The workaround is the following when logged in as root on MATE Desktop:

Go to System -> Preferences -> Personnal -> Startup Application.

Add a new command.

Name: Caja manage root desktop
Command: caja --force-desktop

Save, log out and login again as root.
