Open and Save as dialogs - cannot select Samba shares

In Debian 9 it is no longer possible to use Open and Save as dialogs to open Samba shares just by clicking in the left panel.

This is due to a bug in libgtk-3-0 3.22.11-1 that is fixed in 3.22.27, but this fix should be available through backports until Debian gets updated. Checked stretch-backports and did not find it there.

A time wasting workaround is to click on the disk icon in the breadcrumbs and then navigate to:
/run/usr/<your UID>/gvfs/<share to access>

To check if system is affected, do apt search libgtk-3-0 and check for the version.
